Physical Fitness for Life

Many parents with homeschoolers have asked; "How can my child participate in team sports?" or "Where can I find a league that my child can compete in?". With the creation of the Homeschool Sports League Federation (HSLF), EMH will offer homeschooled students a chance to play on athletic teams which may open up the doors for scholastic level competition and to compete on a level similar to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) which is the governing body for high school sports in the state of California.

GAMES

Games are played in recreation gyms, middle schools, and local parks. One (1) game per week on weeknights or Saturdays. The schedule will not be determined until the number of teams in each division is met.

PRACTICES

Practices would be once or twice per week. Days, times, and locations are determined by volunteers or parent coaches after teams are formed.

TEAMS

Will be formed via an interest list. Participants can register individually or with a group of friends. Homeschools and charter schools can bring full teams into the leagues. Sibling requests will be honored.
